Undergraduate Courses
Full-time study
Unless otherwise specified, all applications must be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) using Apply online. You can do this through your school or college, if they are registered with UCAS, or independently. Full details and instructions can be found on the UCAS website, including details on references and application fees. The UCAS code for UCP Marjon is P63 (PMARJ). UCP Marjon is a registered centre at UCAS for on-line applications. If you are have difficulty in applying on-line please contact the Admissions Office.
Your application should normally reach UCAS between 1 September and 15 January. It is in the interests of all applicants to apply before 15 January 2009, although late applications will be sent by UCAS to institutions for consideration, at their discretion. Before you apply, please check that you have the right entry requirements.
Part-time Study
Applicants who wish to apply to study any of the programmes on a part-time basis should apply direct to the University College, normally between 1 September and 30 June. However, it should be noted that part-time study is not available for all ITT programmes. Application forms are available from the Admissions Office.
Students with Disabilities
We welcome applications from students with disabilities and do all we can to ensure that your participation in both the academic and social life of the University College is as successful as that of other students. We consider it beneficial for you to visit the University College before applying and can arrange informal open days on an individual basis. We also arrange and discuss further support for applicants at Visit Days and interviews. Support is available for students at our campuses, details of which are given on our Student Support page.
Students with Non-standard Qualifications
UCP Marjon recognises the value of learning that takes place outside of formal education institutions. Through the identification of the skills and knowledge acquired informally and reflection upon learning processes, those who do not have the standard entry requirements, but do have a minimum of three years relevant experience, will be considered on an individual basis for entry onto our programmes.
Diplomas
UCP Marjon welcomes applications from students undertaking the new 14–19 Diplomas for entry to its undergraduate programmes. In general, we are happy to consider any applicant studying an Advanced Level Diploma, although some subject areas may require an additional subject-specific level 3 qualification. You are advised to check the detailed entry requirements for your chosen course before applying. We are committed to providing progression opportunities wherever possible.
